We can’t be angry without thinking (consciously or unconsciously) that someone did something wrong. We also can’t feel guilty without having the underlying thought that we did something wrong. And we can’t feel shame without having the idea of us being not ok the way we are. Underneath, there is a whole other world of raw and tender sensations and emotions like helplessness, sadness etc.. For most of us, it’s challenging to allow to feel them and stay with them. Yet, it’s worth going there as these feeling are the portal our longings and needs. And that’s where our creativity and power is...
